The working principle of magnetorheological dampers: Magnetorheological dampers utilize electromagnetic reactions, based on input information from sensors monitoring the movement of the vehicle body and wheels, to respond in real time to road conditions and the driving environment. Magnetorheological fluid is a magnetic soft-particle suspension. When the fluid is injected into the electromagnetic coil inside the damper piston, the coil's magnetic field alters its rheological properties (or generates fluid resistance), thus producing a rapid and highly controllable damping force, even with electronically controlled valves and simple mechanical devices.
